New Software Testing Startup QA On Request Opens its Doors

QA on Request [1]QA on Request, a new software testing company is officially open for business. The company uses a unique model that combines the power of crowdsourcing with the strength of an internal team of professional testers to offer round the clock testing services to web, software, and video game development companies.

QA on Request’s fully automated platform enables companies to purchase software testing services a few hours at a time with very little advanced warning. “In an industry where time is of the essence, we’re betting that software development companies will quickly realize the savings that can be made,” explains Alain Chabot-Denis, co-founder.

“The idea behind QA on Request is that development teams can send a test request at the end of their work day, anytime that may be, and come back to work the next day to find a clear and concise list of bugs to tackle.”

Albeit its nomination in the 2011 Angel Investors Challenge, the team had been keeping a low profile since its inception over 9 months ago. They began accepting work in January this year, choosing to work with a limited number of companies while they gathered feedback on their platform. Satisfied with the results, the company is now opening its doors to the public and is already planning its expansion to Toronto and New York in the coming months.
