Yangaroo Partners With HitLab For Digital Media Distribution

YANGAROO [1]Secure digital media distribution company Yangaroo Inc. [1] has announced a partnership with HitLab [2], an hitlab [3]industry leading independent artist site for the global music and video community headed up by superstar recording artist and Grammy-nominated artist/record producer, Akon. The partnership provides Yangaroo’s Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS) for music and music video delivery services, at preferred prices, to the tens of thousands of HitLab members throughout the world.

Through this relationship, HitLab members are able to access DMDS services, allowing them to deliver broadcast quality music and music video content to radio, TV, press and other promotional outlets. DMDS delivers music to over 3,000 radio stations including College radio, and music videos to all major music television broadcasters including MTV, VH1, BET, FUSE, CMT, GAC, MuchMusic, MusiquePlus, and many more, plus hundreds of regional broadcasters and other video outlets throughout North America, offering many more opportunities to promote and market independent artists.

“The ability for us to offer DMDS to our members provides another dimension to our service,” said Tomas Gautier, President & Founder of HitLab. “An artist can now come to HitLab, have their song evaluated, and then send it on to radio and if they have a video to send that as well all the major and secondary video broadcasters in North America. This new service adds significant value to the HitLab brand.”

“We have watched HitLab grow and expand over the years into the major international music site it is today,” said Cliff Hunt, Chairman and COO Yangaroo Inc. “This deal is a win for Yangaroo, it is a win for HitLab, and most importantly it is a win for the tens of thousands of independent artists that will now have access to DMDS.”
