Family Channel ’s making a New Year’s resolution to bring even more new programming to kids and their families in 2015. January is filled with emotional reunions and non-stop laughs as the network welcomes back two of its top-rated series, Jessie and Austin & Ally, for their fourth seasons. The excitement begins fresh out the gate with the season four premiere of Jessie on Friday, January 9 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Starring Debby Ryan as the titular character, the new season follows Jessie as she continues to guide and encourage the Ross kids on their journey through life as they blossom into young adults, all the while facing new and exciting encounters. After calling off her engagement at the end of season three, the Ross kids are convinced Jessie is headed to Africa to rekindle her relationship with ex-fiancé, Brooks. In an effort to stop her, the kids make the trip to Africa and quickly find themselves on a wild adventure. Immediately following
the season premiere viewers won’t want to miss the first installment of a special two-part Mighty Med. Fans can catch the exciting conclusion to the hour-long Mighty Med episode on Sunday, January 11 at 7 p.m. ET on Family’s sister network, Disney XD.
Also returning for its fourth season this month is the music-filled series Austin & Ally. Debuting Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, the comedy follows the improbable partnership between Austin (Ross Lynch), a nationwide musical sensation, and Ally (Laura Marano), a multi-talented singer and songwriter, and their two best friends, Trish (Raini Rodriguez) and Dez (Calum Worthy). After an emotional season finale that left the gang’s future unclear, the four friends reunite at Ally’s homecoming concert. But, when Austin realizes that the reunion is only temporary he contemplates enrolling in military school.
