Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside Gains Global Support Through Social Video Fundraiser

Nissan Canada Announces Nissan Innovation Challenge Winner

nissanNissan Canada announced the winner of the Nissan Innovation Challenge in a 30-minute television show on CityTV Sunday evening. Kelly Ruest, a mother of two from Cornwall, Ontario, pitched her winning advertising idea on Facebook and focused on the themes of innovation and technology, demonstrated through a family road trip. Kelly’s concept has been developed into a 30-second national television spot which premiered yesterday during the Nissan Innovation Challenge episode on CityTV, and will air regularly on conventional and specialty channels across Canada. Regional Robotics Event Winners Move On To International Championships

first roboticsOver the course of the last several weeks, students from 120 high schools (78 from Ontario, 32 from Quebec, 2 from Alberta, 1 from Nova Scotia, 5 from the United States and 2 from Mexico) took part in the FIRST Robotics Competition – the largest high school robotics competition in Canada.
