WaveConnect Japan Mobile Marketing Program

Government of CanadawavefrontWavefront and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) are actively seeking established Canadian companies with innovative solutions in Mobile Marketing, Mobile Content, Mobile Advertising or Mobile Social Media who are ready to export their solutions to the Japanese market.

Wavefront and DFAIT are hosting a delegation from Japan’s mobile industry for a series of WaveGuide™ seminars in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The delegation, including speakers Kei Shimada, Director of Business Development, Dentsu Inc., Tony Furuya, Sales Manager, ad:tech Tokyo, and a representative from one of Japan’s major carriers and mobile game portals, will be speaking about the massive potential of Japan’s mobile marketing and content market. They will also be hosting one-on-one meetings with companies that have already registered for the WaveConnect™ Japan – Mobile Marketing Program.

Register for the WaveGuide™ seminar (at no charge) to hear directly from members of Japan’s mobile marketing and content industry.

In October, Wavefront will lead a select group of Canadian mobile companies to Tokyo, Japan. Participating companies will have local support from the Canadian Embassy and a unique opportunity to showcase their technologies and network with potential partners and customers including marketing agencies, distribution agents, mobile content companies and social gaming publishers.

The trip will include a tailored program of one-on-one meetings, networking receptions, and access to the ad:tech conference in Tokyo where companies will be provided with exhibiting space and an opportunity for a speaking engagement.

This program is open to Canada’s best and brightest Mobile Marketing companies but space is limited – only six companies will be selected. Up to 50% of travel costs for one person from each selected company will be covered by the program. So if your company is serious about entering the Japanese market, apply now by requesting a 1:1 meeting with the speakers.
