CWC Is Looking for Women Innovators to Profile on Television
Canadian Women In Communications (CWC) has been offered a wonderful opportunity to have one of its members interviewed on Bob Scully’s The World Show. Lynda Partner, CWC Board Member and Eric Melka, the CEO of Redline Communications, a top 10 Canadian wireless company have made this offer available to showcase an amazing women innovator in communications and technology in Canada. We all know that women do things differently, so CWC is looking for women in business who have innovated and succeeded. They can be entrepreneurs who run their own businesses, or intrapreneurs who have created change and positive business results within large companies.
The show runs on hundreds of PBS stations across the US and Canada. Canadian-born Scully is a two time Gemini winner, and was recently chosen as Person of the Year by American Public Television. Over three thousand guests including Nobel Laureates, heads of state, authors, athletes and entrepreneurs have appeared on his show, and now with Redline’s help, Canadian Women Innovators will be profiled. The successful participant will be interviewed by Bob Scully and profiled on the show at no cost thanks to Redline and their story will be seen all over North America. This is a great opportunity to bring attention to successful innovative women in Canada.
The filming will be done in Toronto, so aside from getting yourself there, all costs are covered by Redline. Nominate someone you know (or yourself) before October 30th – tell CWC a bit about them and why they have earned the title of Business Innovator.
