The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is pleased to announce the launch of ScopifyROM, an exciting new smartphone application that allows visitors to experience ROM objects in fun and interactive ways, including Animating a dodo, X-raying a mummy, and Skinning a dino. Developed by Toronto-based production company Kensington Communications, the studio behind Museum Secrets, ScopifyROM is a digital discovery platform that allows visitors to interact with select objects throughout ROM galleries in ways never before possible in any museum. The Canadian Mentorship Challenge is a national initiative that aims to collectively mentor 10,000 enterprising Canadians over the course of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), November 18 – 24, 2013.  Last year, Startup Canada launched the first Canadian Mentorship Challenge, partnering with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) and CATAAlliance, to respond to a call to action from entrepreneurs to increase awareness about the value of mentors and the opportunities for mentorship. This year, the Challenge is being powered jointly by Startup Canada and CYBF to showcase how mentorship’s transfer of knowledge and ideas contributes to the success of startups and mobilizes communities of people to build systems that create profit and prosperity for all. A new Nintendo Direct video has revealed more than a dozen new ways that Nintendo is delivering both variety and value to consumers in 2013 and beyond. Nintendo unveiled key characters in the next installments of the Super Smash Bros. and The Legend of Zelda series, new designs for Wii Remote Plus controllers in honour of everyone’s favourite video game brothers and a variety of free and paid downloads to expand the enjoyment of existing Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games. Xbox has announced two more free games are coming to Xbox Live Gold members in October as part of Games with Gold. Starting today, two great titles will be available for free for a limited time, and one of them is from the award winning developers at Capybara. Follow the epic adventure of five young heroes leading their armies to save the world in Might & Magic Clash of Heroes – a unique mix of RPG and puzzle battle mechanics with online and local battle modes for up to four players.
