Giant Xbox One Appears In Montreal

Xbox CanadaThe larger-than-life Xbox One console – the experience known as One Source – has appeared in downtown Montreal. Sitting on De la Montagne street between Sainte-Catherine and René-Lévesque, the colossal console, which first appeared in Vancouver, brings the Canadian Xbox Live community together to celebrate the launch of Xbox One.  By pledging with their gamertags, fans can unlock incredible one-of-a-kind experiences and rewards, such as the zombie apocalypse inspired by Dead Rising 3 in Vancouver. Every gamertag pledged will contribute to unlocking these experiences.

“Xbox One is the biggest launch in Xbox history,” said Craig Flannagan, Director of Marketing, Xbox, Microsoft Canada. “We are drawing on the best exclusive games, the best multiplayer experience and service and great entertainment to celebrate this launch with the most dedicated community around.”

Canadian Xbox fans can pledge with their gamertag to One Source in three ways:

  • in person at the console
  • through the Xbox Live Dashboard
  • online

Fans who take part early will have more chances to win great prizes, and as community support grows, fans will continue to unlock unique, immersive experiences, that can only be provided by Xbox.

“We are going to build on the momentum we created in Vancouver with our second One Source stop,” said said Mario Coculuzzi, Director, Eastern Region, Microsoft Canada. “We are continuing to celebrate the launch with our fans in unprecedented ways; we are giving the power to our fans to unlock incredible experiences.”

To learn more about One Source or to pledge with your gamertag, visit the Xbox Live Dashboard or the OneSource info page.
