North Vancouver City Library Launches Online Independent Film Service

north van city libraryNorth Vancouver City Library, in partnership with Maryland’s RBdigital from Recorded Books, is pleased to announce the launch of IndieFlix for Libraries, a premier online streaming service provider of award-winning independent films, shorts and documentaries from around the world.

Through the library’s website, North Vancouver City Library patrons have unlimited access to thousands of streaming film-festival hits, including the best of Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, and more. IndieFlix is available on Apple®, Android™, and all Internet-enabled devices. Patrons can also watch films on TV with their Roku devices.

“We’re so happy to have found a product that will help us meet our digital streaming strategy for our local customers,” said Chris Koth, Head, Digital Services. “IndieFlix is a unique service that is sure to provide countless hours of entertainment from access to the world of independent films—something we simply could not provide in any other way.”
