Ubisoft has announced that Watch_Dogs Bad Blood, a new downloadable piece of content for Watch_Dogs, the record-breaking open-world action game that has sold-in more than 8 million units, will release on September 23 for season pass holders and September 30 for all other players. Unfortunately it’s a totally moot point for those of us wanting the Wii U edition of the game, because it has yet to be released, even though Ubi keeps promising a 2014 release date. Well – the hype for the game is pretty well all but over, unless the developer is hoping to capitalize on the holiday release frenzy. I’m not impressed with the delay – I just hope that it’s worth the wait. Maybe Wii U players will get the DLC included in the release when it finally happens – as a reward for being patient and not cancelling the pre-order. Well – one can always hope. Nintendo has prepared a massive lineup of new games and products for the 2014 holiday season. The lineup includes new entries from some of the biggest franchises in gaming, new hardware bundles for Wii U and Nintendo 2DS, and new amiibo interactive figures featuring some of the most iconic characters in the world of video games. The holiday shopping season begins soon for Nintendo fans, as the first 12 amiibo interactive figures become available for pre-order at a suggested retail price of just $13.99 each. The first dozen characters available for pre-order at select retailers are Mario, Peach, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, Marth, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer, with more on the way in the future. Square Enix and Vancouver’s United Front Games have confirmed that Sleeping Dogs™: Definitive Edition is due to launch on the 10^th October 2014 in European and PAL territories for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows® PC. Sleeping Dogs™: Definitive Edition is a re-mastered update of the critically acclaimed Sleeping Dogs which released in 2012. Funcom‘s The Secret World celebrates its second anniversary with a bang! Ubisoft has officially announced Far Cry 4, an open-world, first-person shooter that delivers the most expansive and immersive Far Cry experience ever. Far Cry 4 will be available November 18 in the Americas and November 20 in the EMEA territories for PlayStation 4®, PlayStation® 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
