Future Shop Gifts Twenty High Schools With Tech Lab Grants

Future ShopFuture Shop has announced a record-number of 20 high schools across Canada will be updating their outdated technology thanks to over $500,000 in donations from the company’s Future Generation Tech Lab program. Canadian Video Game Awards Winners

Canadian Video Game AwardsThe Canadian Videogame Awards were handed out in Vancouver Saturday evening, with indie developed game Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP from Capybara Games in Toronto and Eidos-Montreal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution each taking home five awards. FIFA Soccer 12 from Electronic Arts was the public’s choice for Game of the Year, and NHL 12 from Electronic Arts was named the top selling videogame in Canada. Other individual winners included Margaritaville Online from Exploding Barrel Games, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012, both from Ubisoft Montreal.  All the awards were for work developed in Canada and released in 2011.
