Astral And Bell Submit New Proposal For CRTC Approval

(Bell) today announced that they have amended their Arrangement Agreement and submitted a new proposal to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) for approval of Bell’s acquisition of Montréal-based Astral. IBM Canada Selects Nova Scotia as Home for its Canadian Global Delivery Centre

IBMNova Scotia’s knowledge economy is continuing to grow through a new venture between the province of Nova Scotia, IBM and a group of six Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions. Together with the support of the Nova Scotia government and a consortium of 6 universities and colleges, IBM Canada will create its first-ever centre for application services delivery in Canada. IBM Canada will establish a Halifax-based Global Delivery Centre. As announced on October 16, 2012 by the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Honourable James Moore, the Canadian Museum of Civilization will become the Canadian Museum of History, a museum that will present the national history of Canada and its people.
