CRTC Moves A Step Closer To Dealing With Loud TV Commercials

Canada Media Fund Releases Update To The Performance Envelope Manual

Canada Media FundThe Canada Media Fund (CMF) actively encourages and supports the production of value-added digital media content that is associated with CMF-funded television productions. In order to encourage maximum use of the Convergent Digital Media Incentive (CDMI) program, the CMF will broaden the current scope of the Digital Media Investment factor by also taking into account the CMF contribution to CDMI-funded projects in its calculation of the Digital Media Investment factor in 2013-2014 Performance Envelope calculations.  The revised manual is available online.

Telecommunications Union Calls On The CRTC To Protect Consumer Interests

cepCanada’s largest telecommunications union has submitted a brief to the CRTC backing the demand of consumer and public interest groups for a national wireless code to protect consumer interests.
