CRTC Moving Ahead With Capacity-Based Billing On February 1

CRTCThe Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has confirmed that the new wholesale rates for independent Internet service providers (ISPs) will be implemented on February 1, 2012. The large telephone and cable companies will proceed as scheduled with their proposed implementation plans, with the exception of the Bell companies. Their implementation plan has been modified on an interim basis while the CRTC resolves issues raised by the Canadian Network Operators Consortium. Government of Ontario Selects Zylog As A Vendor Of Record

zylogZylog Systems (Ottawa) Ltd has been selected as a Vendor of Record (VOR) for the Government of Ontario in both task-based and solutions-based information and information technology services. The Ontario Government allows qualified organizations to apply to become a VOR every three years. Gaining this status allows broader public sector organizations, including municipalities and services organizations, to approach the vendors directly in a three bid system.
