Recipients of the BC Arts Innovation Fund Announced

The Internet And You: It’s Time For Canadians To Speak Up

ciraThe Canadian Internet Registration Authority, the organization that manages the .CA Internet domain, is kicking off its annual consultation with the Canadian public with a day of insightful and provocative discussion on the issues that impact the safe and fair use of the Internet. The Canadian Internet Forum (CIF) will take place on Thursday, February 28 in Ottawa at the Ottawa Convention Centre. Given the forum’s national focus, the proceedings will also be made available to Canadians anywhere in the country via live webcast. 2013 ACTRA Toronto Award Winners Announced

The Message Is Simple: We Create BC

We Create BCLast evening at the Save BC Film townhall meeting held at North Shore Studios, the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of BC (MPPIA) officially announced We Create BC – an initiative to showcase and celebrate BC’s creative industries, kicking off with BC’s film and television production industry. Last fall Vancouver’s videogame sector held a townhall meeting hosted by DigiBC to discuss the challenges it is facing.
