Vancouver’s QuickMobile has integrated more than 130 third-party systems into its mobile event app platform, supporting thousands of events and millions of users with diverse solutions. These systems include enterprise social collaboration tools from Salesforce and Jive Software, real-time polling systems from Lumi and registration systems from EventBrite and RegOnline. QuickMobile today announced strategic relationships with several registration software providers in an effort to simplify registration integration into the mobile event app experience. While QuickMobile will continue to support most registration systems, the company will now provide deeper productized offerings and out-of-the-box integration with a select number of solutions, including those provided by AllianceTech, Certain Inc., Cvent, etouches, EventsForce, Opus Solutions and SignUp4. Telefilm Canada is very pleased that the Audiovisual Coproduction Treaty (PDF) between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of India came into effect on July 1, 2014. ACM SIGGRAPH has announced the selection of Elliot Kotek, co-founder of Not Impossible Labs, as the keynote speaker at SIGGRAPH 2014, the 41st International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, 10-14 August 2014 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The current content chief and co-founder of Not Impossible Labs, and editor-in-chief of Not Impossible Now, Kotek is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Beyond Cinema and the former editor-in-chief of both Moving Pictures and Celebs.com. The program supports early career artists wanting to develop their practice while building their portfolio, professional exposure and/or career experience through co-op placement, internship, residency or mentorship.
