Dr. Cannon is President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calgary. She has led a distinguished career as a researcher and an academic administrator. Prior to her appointment as president, Dr. Cannon was dean of the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. Under her leadership the school was propelled into the top ranks of engineering schools, benefitting from her extensive network of stakeholders in business, industry and the broader community to expand external funding for student activities.
