Tribal Nova Launches Suite of Early Childhood Learning Apps for iPad

^[1]Tribal Nova ^[1], the developers behind the award winning PBS Kids Play! ^[2] and CBC Wonderworld ^[3] online learning programs have announced the launch of “i Learn With”, a suite of early childhood education apps designed exclusively for iPad. i Learn With ^[4] is a curriculum-oriented, game-based school readiness program for children ages 3-6, developed and designed with experts in early childhood development to deliver a fun and truly educational experience.

i Learn With apps track children’s success rates and adjusts the level of difficulty in order to adapt to their developmental needs across a full breadth of subjects. Parents can monitor their child’s progress in the app and compare it with children that are the same age. The program also recommends a personalized learning path for each child and integrates highly engaging rewards for educational achievements. Based on National Standards and designed with the help of teachers and developmental experts, this suite of education apps proves that games can be both fun and truly educational.

The i Learn With apps include:

•     i Learn With – Planet Boing! HD is the centerpiece for the entire i Learn With program. Boing’s funky alien home planet is an incredibly engaging free play environment filled with music, interactivity, and bright, colorful animations. Here, kids create cute Boing aliens by selecting different characters, outfits, accessories and have fun with them on their planet. Using iPad’s camera, kids can use real backgrounds or put themselves in the scene. The planet is a rewards zone where kids can have fun with all the rewards they have earned from completing game levels. Within Planet Boing there is also a Parents Center where parents have access to a personalized tracking system that shows the progress of each child in the various educational games from each of the apps in the i Learn With program.
•     i Learn With Boing: Ice land adventures! HD features three adaptive, self-leveling literacy games that teach children about letters, phonics and spelling. While practicing phonics, children can even choose to play in a two-player mode for parent-child or peer-to-peer game play. As players progress through game levels, they can earn up to 27 reward items to use in the i Learn With – Planet Boing! App. Includes Parent Center.
•     i Learn With Poko: Seasons and Weather! HD helps children 3 to 6 learn to identify different weather situations in various seasons and teach them appropriate clothing and activities. In the game, Poko tries to remember some of his favorite holidays by choosing pictures to place in his photo album. Children help him by selecting pictures based weather, what types of clothes to wear, and what kinds of activities to perform. Includes Parent Center.
•     i Learn With Poko: Fun Counting and Addition! HD helps children explore numbers and discover additions with Poko and his friends in a gentle introduction to math. Each level teaches children how to count and add different objects, with increasing levels of complexity. Includes Parent Center.
