Travelocity and VFM Leonardo have had a long history of success. Travelocity has been using VFM Leonardo’s VScape as their visual content management system since 2008 and will continue as such under a recently renewed agreement. Travelocity and affiliate sites access and manage more than 1.5 million photo images for 140,000 global hotel properties using the system. In addition to continuing to provide Travelocity with a leading digital asset management platform, VFM Leonardo’s VPowered display technology will be used to display visual content of hotels on Travelocity’s global network of websites. The agreement extends beyond desktop websites as Travelocity has adopted The VPowered Mobile Media Galleries for their smartphone and tablet websites and future mobile apps. Independent game developer Nine Dots Studio is excited to release a stunning video featuring their game, GoD Factory: Wingmen on the Oculus Rift. The 4vs4 space combat MOBA allows players build their ships part by part and fight massive online battles. The game is currently on Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight seeking support from the community to release on PC and Mac platforms. The Oculus Rift is a next-generation virtual reality headset designed for immersive gaming.  The futuristic gadget has already turned heads when tje developers launched its crowdsourcing campaign, and now the hardware is starting to produce some impressive software. Bestselling author, entrepreneur and one of the world’s top business Thinkers50, Don Tapscott will officially be installed as Trent University‘s eleventh chancellor during the campus’ convocation ceremonies on Friday, June 7 at 10am. As part of the installation ceremony, Mr. Tapscott will address graduating students, their families and members of the Trent community prior to the conferring of degrees. Following the presentation of degrees, Mr. Tapscott will officially be installed as chancellor by taking the Oath of Office. Representatives of different sectors of the University, including faculty, the Board of Governors and alumni, will divest Mr. Tapscott of his honorary robes and invest him with his chancellor robes to complete the installation.
