Toronto-based Untold Entertainment Inc. has officially announced its upcoming game Spellirium, a unique graphic adventure – word puzzle mash-up in the spirit of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords and Bookworm Adventures. Equal parts LOOM and Boggle, Spellirium takes players to a post-apocalyptic world called The Land, where present-day civilization has been buried beneath a mile of earth, and reading and writing have been outlawed. Capcom and Slant Six Gameshave released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which is less than a month away from release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 versions on March 20th. The PC version will release on May 18th and will feature NVIDIA 3D Vision support, stunning high resolution visual effects make the hell of Raccoon City even more graphic. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the PC will include all the same features as the console version including the ability to compete in an eight player online team versus battle and four player campaign mode.
The world war has gone intergalactic, as Montreal game publisher Meridian4 has announced that they have partnered with European developers Headup Games and Tindalos Interactive to bring Stellar Impact to Steam and other top distribution channels this spring. Currently in beta on Tindalo Interactive’s website, Stellar Impact is an online strategy game that takes place in a sci-fi universe and now has a myriad of new features and enhancements.
