With projected revenue of nearly $1-million this year, Myriam is dedicated to selling brand name camera and video equipment at discounted prices online. In late 2008 Myriam left her career in banking to focus on her eBay business full-time and hasn’t looked back. MEGA Brands Inc. has entered into an exclusive, multi-year international licensing partnership with online games developer and entertainment firm Mind Candy to develop creative toys based on the global kids hit Moshi Monsters. Under this agreement, MEGA Brands will work closely with Mind Candy to develop a full range of Mega Bloks construction sets, Rose Art Color Blanks activity sets as well as innovative 3D Breakthrough puzzles for the global marketplace. Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced at its MAX 2011 technology conference that the corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Nitobi Software, the creator of PhoneGap and PhoneGap Build. PhoneGap is a popular open source platform for easily building fast, cross-platform mobile applications with HTML5 and JavaScript. With PhoneGap, Adobe® will offer developers the choice of two powerful solutions for cross-platform development of native mobile apps, one using HTML5 and JavaScript with PhoneGap and the other using Adobe Flash® with Adobe AIR®. PhoneGap’s open source framework has been downloaded more than 600,000 times to date and thousands of applications built using PhoneGap are available in mobile app stores that span devices based on Android, iOS, BlackBerry and other operating systems. Through the acquisition, Sprouter Inc. becomes a division of Postmedia Network Inc., but will continue to operate under the Sprouter name and branding under the leadership of Sarah Prevette.
