Autodesk Inc. has announced the release of “Starforce Battlement,” a new 2D mobile tower defense game developed by the Autodesk Gameware team using the Autodesk Scaleform Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) and Autodesk 3ds Max software. Created as a proof-of-concept game, “Starforce Battlement” is an engrossing mobile experience that demonstrates the latest capabilities of the Scaleform Mobile SDK. It is available today on iOS as a free iPad download and will be available on Android devices this year. Hot off its successful launch of “Spy vs Spy” for iOS, Robots and Pencils announced today that its ranch-management game “Heartland” is live on the App Store for $1.99. Based on the hit CBC show of the same name, “Heartland” allows horse lovers and fans of the TV series to indulge in hours of fun in eight original stable locations around the world. Players go hands-on with horses by taking control of Amy, the beloved horse hand from the TV show. With a successful Steam launch last week, Montreal publisher Meridian4 and developer Full Control have released Frontline Tactics on iOS devices.  Although the game touts a strong single-player option, what really distinguishes Frontline Tactics from the rest is its ability to let gamers play against each other in two different multiplayer modes, regardless of which version they are playing.  So, players can be playing on their iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch against others who may be playing on their Windows laptop or Mac.
