Library Of The Future Provides New Model For Learning

The Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL), a model intellectual and cultural centre for the 21st Century, is now open to the public. Located at the heart of the University of Calgary and designed by Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning Ltd., this new six-storey 24,000 m² facility is a unique convergence of libraries, historical archives, arts museum, scholarly publishing and student academic support services. Robert Half Releases 2012 Salary Guides

Robert HalfThe newly released 2012 Salary Guides from Robert Half International show Canadian starting salaries will increase an average of 3.2 per cent next year. Technology positions are projected to see the largest gains among all fields researched, with an anticipated 4.4 per cent increase in base compensation. Autodesk Played Virtual Hand In Human Revolution

Eidos-Montreal used some of the latest game development technology from Autodesk, Inc.  to develop the Autodeskcritically acclaimed “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” video game. Autodesk Scaleform middleware helped the developer build immersive user interfaces (UIs) — from interactive world objects and the hero’s Augmented Reality bio-engineered enhancement, to basic menus and heads-up displays (HUDs). Sage Financial Literacy Survey Reveals That Canadian Small Business Continues To Struggle To Identify Key Costs

University of Surrey to Implement Desire2Learn Learning Suite
