If necessary many Canadians would give up coffee or video games before saying goodbye to their smartphones, according to the results of a national survey released today by WIND Mobile. Thirty-seven percent of Canadian mobile phone owners aged 18-34 say they would give up video games before walking away from their devices, while 36 percent say they would be willing to quit drinking coffee rather than lose their phones. In response to the growth of Canada’s video game industry, CDI College is launching the Game Development and Design program at its campus in Toronto. The program is currently is accepting applications for the 72 week program. Upon graduation, students will have assembled an impressive portfolio that showcases their artistic talents and technical abilities. Grads will be able to apply for jobs with game development studios, video game design companies and computer animation studios.
